Austlink Cloud Workstations is a fully managed desktop computing service in the cloud. This facility allows us to easily provision cloud-based desktops that allow your employees to access the documents, applications and resources they need with the device of their choice, including Desktops/laptops, iPad, Kindle Fire, or Android tablets. With a few clicks we can provision a high-quality desktop experience for any number of users at a cost that is highly competitive with traditional desktops and half the cost of most virtual desktop infrastructure solutions.
You simply select from a choice of Austlink Cloud Workstation bundles that offer a range of different amounts of CPU, memory, storage, and choice of applications. You can choose from two different hardware options and then choose a bundle with software pre-installed or opt to install your own applications.
As soon as the Austlink Cloud Workstations are ready, your employees will each receive an email giving them instructions on how to download the client and connect to their WorkStation. Austlink Cloud Workstation provides users a persistent desktop experience that can be accessed from a variety of devices such as a Desktop/laptop computer (Mac OS or Windows), iPad, Kindle Fire, or Android tablet. The user’s applications and data stay the same regardless of which device they use, so they can easily switch between devices without losing their work.
Austlink Cloud Workstations provides you with the choice of creating a standalone, managed directory for users, or you can integrate with your existing Microsoft Windows Active Directory so that your employees can use their existing credentials to obtain seamless access to company resources.
Austlink Cloud Workstation Bundles
With Austlink Cloud Workstations, you can choose from two different hardware configurations, Standard or Performance. Effectively a "Performance" workstation has twice the power of a "Standard" system.
If you are going to only use your accounting software, e.g. MYOB Exo Business or Jiwa Financials then a Value facility would be fine. On the other hand if your job entails the manipulation of large data sets inside Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access then a Standard or Performance Workstation would better suit your needs.
All systems come with Webroot End Point Protection licensed and installed.

* Each Cloud Workspace is billed on a monthly subscription. Charges are prorated for the remainder of the first month. Subsequent months are billed for the entire month. All pricing is in Australian Dollars excuding GST and is subject to change with one mongth’s notice.
**You need to have valid licensing to use the MYOB Exo Business or Jiwa Financials Client Software. If you need addtional software installed this will be charged at our normal hourly rate.
